Shrikar Kundur picking up a win at #2 doubles, and junior
Matt DeMichiel and freshman
Yanik Parsch picking up a win at #3 doubles.
In #1 singles, freshman
Benedict Teoh fought through a first-set tiebreak to win in straight sets 7-6 (7-5), 6-0. NYU controlled the rest of singles play as well, winning four of the final five matches in straight-sets to earn a decisive victory.
"We had contributions from everyone in the lineup," said NYU Head Coach
Horace Choy.
The Violets return to action on Sunday, March 13, where they will take on Brandeis University at the Stadium Tennis Center in the Bronx, NY.
