The New York University men's tennis team lost to The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) 6-3 on Wednesday, April 1, in Ewing, NJ.
The Violets dropped the first two doubles matches, but the #3 doubles team of senior
CJ Leong and sophomore
Matt DeMichiel picked up a 8-2 win to cut NYU's deficit in half.
In singles play, NYU kept it competitive, as four matches went three sets. However, TCNJ won three of those four matches, as well as four of the six total matches, to come away with the close victory.
"Singles went back and forth. It could have gone either way," said NYU Head Coach

The Lions improve to 6-1, while the VIolets fall to 1-4.
"I'm proud of the way the guys played, and if we keep it up the results will come," added Choy.
