FULL RESULTSThe New York University women's fencing team competed at the Eric Sollee Invitational on Sunday, February 21, in Cambridge, MA. The Violets finished the day with a 1-5 record.
NYU opened up the first round with a 19-8 victory over Haverford College. The Violets followed that up with two losses against host Massachusetts Institute of Technology (16-11) and Brandeis University (17-10). The Violets then lost their next two rounds to Duke University (20-7) and Brown University (16-11).
NYU ended the competition with a 18-9 loss to Boston College.

Audra Fox was outstanding against all six opponents, posting a 14-4 record in foil.

Cydney Williams all had six victories on the day.
The Violets will be back on the strip in a tri-meet at 5pm on Tuesday, February 10, for Family Day at the Coles Sports Center.
