Box ScoreThe New York University men's soccer team remained unbeaten in the 2014 season with a 2-0 shutout over Hunter College on Wednesday, September 17, on Randall's Island, NY.
The Violets (6-0) scored right before halftime and then again late in the contest en route to keeping Hunter (0-7) winless for the season.
Mickey Ingerman scored NYU's first goal on a free kick with 43:31 gone in the game.
Zane Van De Put scored his first-career goal at the 80:32 mark to secure the win.

Lucas Doucette had to make only one save in recording his fourth win and second shuitout of the season.

Bryan Walsh attempted six shots for the Violets, three of which landed on goal.
- Overall, NYU outshot the Hawks 15-2.
- Hunter's keeper Emmanuel Aprilakis made six saves.
"We still have a lot to do," Behan added. "But, we battled tonight and came out with a good victory."
NYU returns to action this Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm when they face Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.
