The New York University men's soccer team kicks off its 2014 season on Friday, August 29, when the Violets play Baruch College at the Metropolitan Oval in Queens, NY, at 5:30pm.
The Violets then open its home schedule on Saturday as NYU hosts Brooklyn College at 7pm at Gaelic Park on the campus of Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY.
NYU finished its 2013 season with a record of 6-8-3 overall and 0-6-1 in the University Athletic Association (UAA).
The Violets are again led by
Joe Behan, who is in his 19th season as Head Coach. His 163-138-34 overall record includes two NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Final Four in 2006.
