The New York University women's tennis team lost 6-3 to William Smith College on Sunday, April 6, in Geneva, NY.
The Violets fell to 0-4 on the season while William Smith improved to 8-2.
NYU fell behind early, losing all three doubles matches.
In singles, the Violets performed well, but couldn't gather the necessary victories to win the match.
"Starting down 0-3 again after doubles was a deep hole to dig out of," said NYU Head Coach
Horace Choy. "We had good performances in singles, but we couldn't quite make up for the doubles performance."
