Women's Tennis Falls to Brandeis at UAA Championship

Results

The New York University women's tennis team lost to Brandeis University at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship on Saturday, April 25. The championship is being held at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, FL, from Friday, April 25, through Sunday, April 27.

The Violets (1-8) were up against the nationally-ranked #22 Judges (11-1) in the first round of the consolation bracket.

Alison Wang and Mari Tzakis won their #1 doubles match in dramatic fashion (9-7), but were not succesful in singles.

NYU will face #7-seed University of Rochester (5-11) in the seventh-place game on Sunday, April 27. First serve is scheduled for 9:00 am.
