The New York University women's tennis team fell to Haverford College 6-3 on Friday, March 7, on the road in Haverford, PA.
In singles,
Alison Wang pulled out an incredibly close win over Caitlin Gallagher, last year's Centenial Conference Player of the Year. NYU's
Alexandra Ziarko and
Jazmin Colling also earned wins over their Haverford opponents.
The Violets struggled in doubles, losing all three of their matches.
"We dug ourselves a bit of a hole in doubles," said Head Coach
Horace Choy. "The girls fought, but in the end the deficit was too much."
