The Violets (11-3-0, 2-2-0 UAA) overcame an early deficit to tie the game 1-1 on
Reece Barton's third goal of the season at 54:11. The tally was unassisted and evened things up after the Tartans (8-4-1, 2-1-1 UAA) had opened the scoring just 8:23 into the contest.
The game remained stalemated until Carnegie Mellon's Connor Webb scored for the second time in the contest at 61:21, He attempted a penalty shot, which was stopped by Violets' keeper Luc Douchette. However, the rebound went back to Webb who kicked in into the right corner of the net
HIGHLIGHTS:

Petter Aasa each attempted two shots for the Violets, who were outshot 13-9.
- Webb, who leads the UAA with 10 goals, attempted seven shots in the game.
The Violets return to the pitch on on Tuesday, October 28, when they play their final non-UAA game of the season. NYU hosts the College of Mt. St. Vincent at Gaelic Park, with kickoff set for 7 pm.
