CWRU 1 NYU 0The New York University men's soccer team was defeated 1-0 at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, on Saturday afternoon, October 11.
The Violets (10-2-0, 1-1-0 University Athletic Association) fell in a hard-fought contest to the Spartans (7-4-2, 1-1-0 UAA), halting the Violets' winning streak at four games.
NYU attempted eight total shots and landed three on goal in the loss, while Case landed seven of its 14 on net.
Lucas Doucette was a constant in net for the Violets, as the sophomore keeper recorded six saves -- two short of his season best.
