The New York University men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Tuesday, September 24, in Kings Point, NY.
The Violets manged eight shots in the contest, with three winding up on net. The Mariners got off 12 shots, also putting three on net.
NYU.is now 6-1-1 this season, while USMMA stands at 4-4-1.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Violet goalkeeper Forest Sexton went all 110 minutes in net and recorded his first shutout of the season. All three saves came in the second half.

Kelechukwu Eboh attempted a team-high three shots for the Violets.
- Gary Poulin, USMMA's goalkeeper, also played the full 110 minutes to record his three saves.
- Both teams had a shot at game-winners in overtime, but the Violets' Bryan Walsh and the Mariners' Nick Vogel just missed the net on their respective shots
