The New York University men's tennis team earned its second victory of the year, defeating the University of Rochester 8-1 at the Stadium Tennis Center at Mill Pond on Saturday, April 6.

NYU (2-3) swept the singles matches and took two of the three doubles matches.

Harveer Bhalla, Aaron Meltzer, Steven Wu, and CJ Leong all went a perfect 2-0 by winning their singles and doubles matches. Sidd Thangirala and James Dean added singles victories.

"This was a nice bounce-back win after a tough loss on Wednesday," said Head Coach Horace Choy. "We made a real statement before conference play starts."

The Violets return to the court on Sunday, April 7, when they host William Smith College at 11:00 am.
