The New York University wrestling team defeated Centennial Conference foe United States Merchant Marine Academy 21-19 in an exciting back-and-forth match on Wednesday, January 16, at the Jerome S. Coles Center in Manhattan.
With the win, NYU is now 9-1 overall and 2-0 in Centennial Conference duals. The grapplers have also won seven straight duals dating back to November 10 against King's College.

The grapplers will return to the mats on Saturday, January 19, in Riverdale, NY, for the College of Mount Saint Vincent Invitational.
