Will Ladnier won at 125 pounds by forfeit, NYU was unable to win another bout against the Division I Diplomats.
The closest the grapplers came to a victory on the mat was at 184 pounds, as Sabino Galassi dropped a hard-fought 8-6 decision.
NYU, now 5-9 in dual matches this season, will have a chance to turn things around quickly as the squad returns to action on Saturday for a quad-meet at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. The grapplers will also be facing SUNY Oswego and McDaniel College.
