Wrestlers Fall to Franklin & Marshall

Ladnier was the only NYU wrestler to score points on Friday.
The New York University wrestling team traveled to Lancaster, PA, and was beaten by host Franklin & Marshall College 39-6 on Friday, February 11.

After Will Ladnier won at 125 pounds by forfeit, NYU was unable to win another bout against the Division I Diplomats.

The closest the grapplers came to a victory on the mat was at 184 pounds, as Sabino Galassi dropped a hard-fought 8-6 decision.

NYU, now 5-9 in dual matches this season, will have a chance to turn things around quickly as the squad returns to action on Saturday for a quad-meet at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA.  The grapplers will also be facing SUNY Oswego and McDaniel College.
