The New York University men's soccer team saw its University Athletic Association (UAA) unbeaten streak and shutout streak snapped with a 1-0 loss at the University of Rochester on Saturday, October 8, in Rochester, NY.
Jakob Seidlitz scored the game-winning goal for the Yellowjackets (7-2-1, 1-0-1) in the 70th minute. Max Fan played a free kick from the left corner to the far right post, where Seidlitz jumped and put in a header just under the crossbar.

Kyle Green saved the ball on the endline and played it to
Ian Cassell in front. Cassell took a shot from five yards out that went just wide of the left post.
Colm Dillane also had a chance to put NYU ahead in the 63rd minute, but his shot from the top of the box was saved by Rochester goalkeeper Scott Garfing.
Jonah Poster totaled three saves in goal for the Violets, while Garfing made two stops for the Yellowjackets.
NYU returns to action on Friday when it hosts UAA foe Washington University for a Tear It Up! contest. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
