Men's Tennis Drops Spring Opener

Violets Fall Short at Swarthmore College

Stoler took a set at sixth singles before falling short in the deciding frame.

The New York University men's tennis team began the spring portion of its season on Saturday, falling to Swarthmore College, 9-0. 

At sixth singles, Alex Stoler won the second set from Swarthmore's Seth Udelson before ultimately falling in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 10-4.

With the defeat, the Violets fell to 0-2 in dual meets this season. They will try to right the ship on Mar. 6 at Wheaton College in Norton, MA.
