The New York University men's tennis team began the spring portion of its season on Saturday, falling to Swarthmore College, 9-0.
At sixth singles, Alex Stoler won the second set from Swarthmore's Seth Udelson before ultimately falling in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 10-4.
With the defeat, the Violets fell to 0-2 in dual meets this season. They will try to right the ship on Mar. 6 at Wheaton College in Norton, MA.
