On the second day of University Athletic Association Championship competition, the New York University women's tennis team triumphed over the University of Rochester by a score of 6-3 in Waltham, MA.

After picking up two victories in the doubles portion of the match, the Violets (5-10) took four singles matches to secure the win.  NYU will play at 3:30 p.m. today in the fifth place match against #5-seeded Brandeis University.
