Violets Women's Tennis Team Seeded Seventh at UAA Championship

NYU Will Face Emory in Friday's First Round

Seeded seventh, the New York University women's tennis team will oppose #2 Emory University in the first round of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Tennis Championship on Friday, April 24, at 1:30 pm on the campus of Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.

The Championship will run through Sunday, April 26, assuring that the Violets will play three matches.

NYU (4-9) finished sixth in 2007-08. The previous year, the Violets tied their best-ever placement, taking fourth. They also placed fourth in 2002-03.
