Celebrating Senior and Family Day, the New York University women's tennis team defeated Ithaca College by a score of 7-2 on Saturday at the USTA National Tennis Center.

Senior Stephanie Tu posted a perfect day, winning both her singles match and doubles match (paired with Elizabeth Stachtiaris). Fellow senior Amanda Freedman and her doubles partner Lisa Mijovic put away their doubles opponents 9-7 to garner the second victory of the day for the Violets.

In singles competition, Elizabeth Feldman's triumph over Alyssa Jaffe secured the match for NYU. Stachtiaris and Lena-Sophie Krups also defeated their singles opponents.

The Violets improved to 3-6 this season, while the Bombers dropped to 13-4.
