In a tribute to their two seniors, the New York University men's tennis team defeated Ithaca College 6-3 on Saturday at the USTA National Tennis Center.

After dropping two of the three doubles matches, the Violets roared back and won five of the six singles matches to secure a victory over the Bombers. 

The NYU doubles victory was produced by Matthew Gross and Alex Stoler, who defeated their doubles opponents by a score of 8-4.

Highlighting the singles matches, senior Craig Berger triumphed over Taylor Borda in straight sets to clinch the victory for the Violets. 

P.J. Marranca, Alex Zara, Eugene Tsarevskiy, and Jason Sacher all won their singles matches for NYU, as well.

The Violets now sport a 5-6 record this season.
