Tennis Salutes Seniors

The New York University men's and women's tennis teams will salute their five seniors before Saturday's match against Ithaca College at 11:00 a.m. at the U.S. Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.

Captain Calvin Chou looks to improve his 7-7 singles record and bring his doubles record with fellow senior Craig Berger above the .500 mark.  Berger is currently 8-6 at #1 singles.  The Violets, after defeating Drew University on Thursday afternoon, hold a 4-6 season record.

On the women's side, captain Stephanie Tu owns a 6-9 record at #2 singles.  Amanda Freedman has a 4-9 mark, while Jennifer Gottlieb looks to secure her first victory of the season and improve upon her 0-2 mark.  The women head into Saturday's match with a 2-6 season record.

Both teams will also host matches on Sunday at the same complex, both beginning again at 11:00 a.m.  The men face Hobart College and the women square off against William Smith College.
