Men's Soccer Ready for Regular-Season Finale at Brandeis

Christopher Wolf is one of three seniors looking to end his collegiate career with a win at Brandeis.

New York University's men's soccer team will look to end its 2009 season with a two-game winning streak when it travels to Waltham, MA, to face University Athletic Association (UAA) rival Brandeis University this Saturday at 11 a.m.  Live stats will be provided by Brandeis.

A victory over the Judges (6-9-2, 1-4-1 UAA) could help the Violets (6-8-2, 1-3-2 UAA) finish as high as fifth in the Association standings.  NYU has defeated Brandeis each of the past two seasons, including a 2-0 home triumph on Nov. 8, 2008.

Sparked by goals from rookies Ronny Scardino and Kyle Green, the Violets earned a 2-1 triumph over Washington University last Sunday for its first UAA win.  Green also contributed an assist to give him a team-leading 11 points, while Marek Urbanski made seven saves.

Saturday will mark the final collegiate game for each of NYU's three seniors: Urbanski, Brandon Hintz, and captain Christopher Wolf.
