Offensive Explosion Jolts John Jay, 5-0

Hintz Tallies First Career Hat Trick, Adds Assist

Adam Fein's first collegiate goal highlighted the Violets' breakout offensive effort.

Brandon Hintz netted his first career hat trick and added an assist, highlighting the New York University men's soccer team's best offensive performance this season in a 5-0 victory over the John Jay College of Criminal Justice on Saturday at the Metropolitan Oval in Maspeth, NY.

Michael Burke and Ronny Scardino also found the back of the net as the Violets (5-7-2) outshot the Bloodhounds (2-14-1) by a 26-5 margin.

Marek Urbanski started and made one save in the first half before Matt Stieve came on and made one stop in the second half.

NYU returns to action Friday, Oct. 30, when it hosts University Athletic Associaiton rival Washington University for Family Day at Manhattan College's Gaelic Park in Riverdale, NY.  Kickoff time is 11 a.m.
