Jeff Kamrath is in his first season as an assistant coach of the New York University baseball team. He will serve as the team’s pitching coach.
Kamrath brings a variety of experience to NYU after competing collegiately at the University of Virginia and professionally in the Tampa Bay Rays organization.
“Our program will benefit a great deal from Jeff,” said NYU Head Coach Doug Kimbler. “His experience at one of the best Division I programs in the country, the University of Virginia, and his professional career will have a huge impact on our student-athletes immediately.”
Kamrath pitched four seasons at Virginia and was named First Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference as a senior.
After graduating from Virginia in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in government, Kamrath went on to pitch over 200 innings in the Rays’ minor league system over the span of four seasons.
Kamrath also currently works as the Director of Business Development & Partnerships for GameChanger Media, Inc.
A native of Houston, TX, Kamrath resides in Manhattan.
