The New York University men's golf team completed the second and final round of the St. Lawrence University Invitational on Sunday, September 6. The Violets competed at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course in Canton, NY, for the two-day tournament.
NYU placed fifth out of 13 teams with a two-round score of 597 (+21). The Violets carded a 296 (+8) in Sunday's final round after opening the tournament with a 301 (+13) on Saturday.
St. Lawrence won the team title at 575 (-1).
Tanmay Chandra tied for seventh in the 88-player field with a two-round score of 146 (+2) after carding a one-over-par 73 on Sunday.
Qi (Steven) Liu tied for 14th at 149 (+5) after shooting a 74 (+2), while
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan tied for 17th at 150 (+6) following a one-over-par 73.
Bo Dong tied for 24th at 152 (+8) after a 76 (+4).
Bryan Zhao, competing as an individual, tied for 29th at 153 (+9) after an 80 (+8).
Ryan Zhao tied for 62nd at 161 (+17) after an 81 (+9), while
George Zhou tied for 68th at 162 (+18) after a 78 (+6).

The Violets return to action at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship on Monday-Tuesday, September 14-15, at Elks Run Golf Course in Batavia, OH. NYU is serving as host.
