The New York University men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Farmingdale State College Spring Invitational.
The two-day tournament was held on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19, in Bethpage State Park.
The Violets were in sixth place after Saturday's opening round, but moved up one spot in the 16-team field on Sunday after shooting +13.
George Zhou finished the two days as NYU's low scorer at three-over par. He tied for 20th place.
Oscar Uribe, at +4, tied for 24th place.
Qi (Steven) Liu,
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan, and
Tanmay Chandra all went +5 for the tournament and tied for 30th place in the 96-player field.
"We're peaking at the right time heading into the Liberty League Championship next week," said Head Coach
Brad Johnson. "The team is coming together and we will be ready to give it our best."
NYU now gets ready for the Liberty League Championship next weekend in Verona, NY.
