The New York University men's golf team began play at the Farmingdale State College Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 18, in Farmingdale, NY.
The Violets are in sixth place through the opening round with a team score +2. A pair of golfers are in the top-20 of the individual standings for NYU, highlighted by
Tanmay Chandra in 11th place with a score of -1.
He is followed by
Qi (Steven) Liu in 19th place with an even par.
George Zhou shot one above par and sits in 26th, while
Oscar Uribe shot two above par, good for 31st in the individual standings.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan rounded out the Violets with a first round score of +4.
NYU will close out the FSC Spring Invitational with tomorrow's second round beginning at 8:00am.
