The New York University men's golf team captured the team title at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational, hosted by Skidmore College, on Sunday, April 12. The Violets competed at Ballston Spa Country Club in Ballston Spa, NY.
NYU finished in first place out of 17 teams with a total score of +16, improving on its second-place standing after round one. The Violets shot +5 today.
Tanmay Chandra led the Violets with a two-round score of +1, finishing fourth overall on the individual leaderboard out of 96 competitors. Oscar Uribe followed with a +4 and finished seventh overall, while Jomyuth Luangtana-anan carded a +8.
Qi (Steven) Liu added a +4, and Jia Yu (George) Zhou finished with a +16. Kai Nam Ryan Leung competed individually and posted a +15.
The Violets will return to action on Thursday, April 16, at the FCS Bethpage Black Invitational in Farmingdale, NY.
