NYU Kendo finished the 2022-2023 season by competing at the BUKai tournament, hosted by Boston University. 

The annual tournament is held each spring, hosting team competitions, individuals tournaments, and a variety of competition formats allowing the Kendo community to display their talent. This year's tournament hosted over 90 athletes from nie schools, including, host Boston University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Harvard University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Pennsylvania, Yale University, and Rutgers University. 

NYU performed well, and finished in third place via NYU "Team D", which is made up of Andy Lee, Alex Loftus, Zixuan Dong, Nick Li, and Danny Chung. 

Andy Lee also place second in the category for athletes less than three years of experience.
