The New York University baseball team dropped its first game of the season, 8-2, to Haverford College, but bounced back with a 13-3 victory in the second game of the doubleheader on Saturday, March 24, at MCU Park in Brooklyn.

QUOTABLE:
"I was happy with the way the guys bounced back in game two today," said Head Coach
Doug Kimbler. "It was a weird week due to travel and weather and we started slower than we would've like today. We came out aggressive in game two and got a great start from Tim in a big spot. We're looking forward to a busy week, it will be nice to get into a rhythm and get out there and keep working"
Up Next:
The Violets have a busy week ahead with six games scheduled, all at MCU Park. NYU will take on the College of Mount Saint Vincent in a doubleheader on Tuesday, before opening up University Athletic Association (UAA) action against Washington University in St. Louis with a four-game series that will take place Friday-Sunday.
