Women's Basketball Earns Postseason Bid

Violets to Host Marywood in ECAC Tournament on Wednesday

The New York University women's basketball team will host Marywood University in the opening round of the ECAC Tournament on Wednesday, March 1, at the Brooklyn Athletic Facility in Brooklyn, NY.

The Violets (13-12) return to the postseason for the fourth consecutive season under fifth-year Head Coach Lauren Hall-Gregory. They will face Marywood (18-8), winners of the regular-season Colonial States Athletic Conference title, for the first time in program history.

The 15-team tournament (see bracket) will begin on Wednesday at seven different sites, then move to Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, for the remaining games.

Wednesday night's game in Brooklyn will begin at 7:00pm.
