Lucas Doucette made five saves.
- Medios-Simon and four other Violets each had one shot on goal.
Idy Watt and
Petter Aasa each took two shots overall.
- NYU was outshot 19-11.

"Case Western is a good team. They came in with a game plan and were very good individually on the ball," Wyant added. "But, we felt this game was winnable at haltime and it was just some silly mistakes that cost us."
The Violets return to action this Tuesday, October 6, when they face Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, NY, beginning at 7:00 pm.
