Cassidy Dadaos has been hired by New York University's Department of Athletics, Intramurals and Recreation as its Athletic Development and Alumni Relations Coordinator.
In her new position, Dadaos will be involved with planning alumni and Violet Booster Club events, including the annual NYU Golf Outing and the NYU Varsity Athlete Reunion and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Dadaos comes to NYU after spending two years as an Associate Human Resources Specialist at Old Mutual Asset Management in Boston, MA. While there, she helped assist and coordinate employee staffing, benefits and wellness programs.
"I am just thrilled that Cassidy has agreed to join the NYU family,” said Associate Director of Athletics
Janice Quinn. “She is an outstanding young professional with great energy. She will be a terrific ambassador for this department and university."
A 2009 graduate of Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and American Studies, Dadaos was a four-year member of the basketball team and served as captain in her final two seasons. A two-time University Athletic Association (UAA) All-Academic honoree and Dean's List student, Dadaos served as Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) President for her final three years.
While at Brandeis, Cassidy also served as a Facility Manager and Staff Coordinator at the Gosman Athletic Center for three years. She supervised staff members and the facility on evenings and weekends.
“I'm excited to join the NYU Family and be able to remain involved within the UAA,” Dadaos said. “I've always had a lot of respect for NYU and its programs. It's terrific to be involved with the University and to get back into collegiate athletics.”
A native of Healdsburg, CA, Cassidy resides in Hoboken, NJ.
