Prior to playing its regular-season finale against University Athletic Association (UAA) rival Brandeis University on Saturday at 2 p.m., the New York University women's basketball team will honor its five seniors in a pre-game ceremony: Gena Brown, Megan Fox, Sarah McDevitt, Jessica McEntee, and Chelsea Seabron.

Ranked #20 in both the D3Hoops.com and the USA Today ESPN Division III Coaches' polls, the Violets (20-4, 9-4 UAA) are assured of a third-place finish in the Association.  They have won three straight games coming into Saturday's tilt, including a 71-60 victory over Emory University last Sunday that assured the program of its 18th 20-win campaign in the past 25 years.  NYU is ranked #2 in the East Region.

Meanwhile, Brandeis (17-6, 7-6 UAA) enters on a four-game victory run.  Led by star guard Jessica Chapin, the Judges are fifth in the UAA standings, but third in the most recent Northeast Region rankings.
