The #22-ranked New York University women's soccer team finished in a 0-0 draw with the University of Scranton on Tuesday, September 29, in Scranton, PA.

"Playing at Scranton midweek is always a tough test," said Head Coach Scott Waddell. "We played well despite all the challenges. We certainly deserved a bit more in my opinion, but credit to Scranton. They are super organized and defensively solid."

Julia Spang had an opportunity to put the Violets on the board in the 27th minute, sending a shot toward the bottom right of the goal. But, the Royals' goalkeeper Makenize Arsdale was able to keep it out.

The two teams went into the locker room scoreless at the half.
