The University Athletic Association (UAA) has announced its 2025-26 Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete honorees, with 11 New York University student-athletes making the grade. 

To achieve this recognition, a student-athlete is required to earn First Team All-Association honors and must carry a 3.70 or greater cumulative grade point average through the playing season of their sport. Student-athletes must have also completed at least one full year at their institution in order to qualify.

NYU's 11 student-athletes represent the sports of women's swimming & diving, men's swimming & diving, women's cross country, men's cross country, women's track & field, and women's fencing. Two of the Violets' honorees were selected Most Outstanding Performer in their sport by their respective UAA coaches' group: Kaley McIntyre (women's swimming & diving) and Ashlyn Pallotta (women's cross country)

The UAA Presidents Council created the special recognition in 2009 with the original recommendation to establish this honor coming from the UAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and was supported by the Athletic Administrators and Delegates Committees.
