In the final set, NYU was behind 2-1 before scoring the next five points and taking the lead for good.

Devyn Nguyen registered a match-high 21 assists and Zach Knudsen led the way with nine digs.

The Violets hit .243 for the match, while holding the Soaring Eagles to a microscopic .024.

"It was a really good win," said Head Coach Jose Pina. "We served well. We got a lot of points off our serve and were able to put them in trouble at times."

The Violets are right back in action tomorrow when they host #11 Hobart College on Saturday back at the Paulson Center. NYU will be celebrating Senior Day, with first serve set for 2:00pm.
