The New York University diving team traveled upstate to Troy, NY, on Saturday, Oct. 25, for competition against hosts Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), as well as SUNY Oneonta and Alfred State College.
This was a scheduled dual meet between RPI and Oneonta, with no team scoring for the divers from NYU and Alfred State.
Individually, the Violets placed divers in the top three for all four events. The NYU women swept the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events.
"This was a really fun weekend," said Diving Head Coach
Todd Kolean. "We performed well and multiple divers hit, or came close to hitting, their marks for regional qualifying."
Team captain
Meera Kasturi took first place in the one-meter dive, besting the field with a 278.55 score.
Isabella Reyes took third, scoring 249.20.
