New York University's men's tennis team lost 5-4 against The College of New Jersey on Saturday, March 23, in Ewing, NJ.
The Violets won two of three doubles matches as
Alexander Lee and
Boren Zheng came out on top 8-6 at the first flight while
Louis Frowein and
Jingyuan Chen also won 8-6 at #2.
TCNJ won the first four flights of singles, but NYU was victorious at #5 and #6.
Zachary Freier picked up a 6-4, 6-4 triumph at fifth singles and
Ryan Shayani earned a 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 10-6 victory at sixth singles.
The Violets are now 1-3 in dual matches this season.
NYU returns to the court on Saturday, April 6, at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.
