Arkan Tahsildaroglu's 84th-minute goal directly off a corner kick gave New York University's men's soccer team a 1-1 draw at University of Rochester on Saturday in Rochester, NY.
The University Athletic Association (UAA) contest was evenly matched throughout, as both goals came with less than 10 minutes remaining.
NYU is now 2-1-1 in Association play and 6-4-2 overall while the Yellowjackets now sit at 1-1-2 in the UAA and 6-2-4 on the season.
Rochester had two shots on goal in the first 14 minutes of the match, both saved by Violet keeper
Luca Mancuso.
Ben Trask had a chance in the 38th minute, but Rochester netminder Santino Lupica-Tondo stopped it for one of six saves on the day.
Both sides attempted five shots apiece in the first half as the match remained scoreless after 45 minutes.

Nathan Bennett's accurate strike just two minutes into the second before an offensive lull that didn't see another shot on goal from either team until the 66:32 mark.
Elijose Arauja broke the gridlock in the 81st, scoring on an assist from Kol Bassuk to give the hosts a 1-0 advantage.
Tahsildaroglu netted the equalizer just two minutes later, bending the ball into the back of the net on a corner kick for his second goal of the weekend and sixth of the season.
The Yellowjackets got off a pair of late shot attempts to follow, but neither were on target.
UR led 13-9 in total shot attempts, but the Violets had seven shots on goal to Rochester's three.
Tahsildaroglu attempted a match-high five shots while Mancuso finished with two saves.
The Violets revert back to non-Association play for their next outing, hosting Wilkes University as part of NYU's Alumni and Parents Weekend on Saturday, October 22, at Gaelic Park in Riverdale, NY. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
