Do you Bleed Violet? It's time to show your #VioletPride! On Friday, October 12, as the NYU men's and women's soccer teams will be taking on their UAA rivals from Emory under the lights at Gaelic Park.
We'll have free t-shirts (pictured below) and pizza for all NYU students who attend. The men's game will begin at 6:00 PM with the women set to kick off at 8:30. At halftime of the women's game, we'll have an on-field shooting contest, with the winner taking home two tickets to NYCFC vs. Philadelphia Union on Sunday, October 28. There will be additional prizes and contests throughout the evening. Pizza will be served at halftime of the men's game and prior to the start of the women's game.
Gaelic Park is accessible via the 1 train to 238th Street in the Bronx. For anyone wishing to travel to the games as a group, Athletics Department representatives will be available to lead groups departing from under the arch in Washington Square Park at 5:00 PM. In addition, after the games are complete, a Fan Bus will be available for those returning to campus.
After the conclusion of the women's game, the Fan Bus will depart Gaelic Park and return to Palladium Athletic Facility.
