The New York University men's soccer team fell 1-0 to host University of Chicago in University Athletic Association (UAA) action on Friday, October 26, in Chicago.
Chicago, which came into the game ranked #5 in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll, scored the game's only goal in the 32nd minute and the Maroons improved to 13-2-1 overall and 4-1-0 in UAA play. NYU's record is now 11-4-0 on the season and 2-3-0 in the UAA.

Grant Engel at the 31:47 mark of the first half when he scored off a pass from Sam Drabios.
Engel saved Chicago's other six shots on goal, while Maroons' goalkeeper Aaron Katsimpalis saved all three of the Violets' shots on target.
Overall, Chicago out-shot NYU 19-6 and took four corner kicks, while the Violets didn't attempt one.
The Violets return to the pitch on Sunday, when they travel to St. Louis to take on Washington University in St. Louis. Kickoff is slated for 11am CT.
