Game one remained scoreless until the sixth inning when Jonathan Iaione scored from second on a two-out

In game two, the Violets quickly jumped out to a 4-1 lead, the big blow being a
Coltrane Tait two-RBI single. Emory replied with four runs of their own in the bottom of the second to make the game 5-4, before

Jack Walter on an RBI groundout in the fourth inning to tie the score at 5.
The Eagles responded with three runs in the fourth, three in the fifth and two more in the sixth to produce a 13-5 cushion.
"We've struggled all year in game two of doubleheaders," added Kimbler. "We need to do a better job of staying focused in the second games."
