Violets Get Four Different Goal Scorers in Win

The New York University men's soccer team picked up its fifth victory of the season on Friday night, October 23, with a 4-0 win over Brooklyn College on the road in Brooklyn.

The Violets' (5-10) victory halts a four-game losing streak as they defeated the Bulldogs (8-7-2) in a one-sided affair. Four different Violets scored in the victorious effort, while junior goalkeepr Lucas Doucette recorded six saves for his second shutout of the season.

"It was a total team effort with all the players getting time on the field," said NYU Head Coach Kim Wyant. "Four different players scored and Lucas got the shutout. We saw many things that we've been emphasizing in practice and if we continue on the path we've set, we'll see the results we're seeking."
