Women's Volleyball Set to open 2014-15 NYU Athletics Season

The 2014-15 New York University Athletics season will officially begin this weekend when the women's volleyball team hosts its annual Labor Day Invitational at the Coles Sports Center in Manhattan.

Seven teams from around the country will join NYU in the tournament, which takes place on Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30. Each team is scheduled to play two matches on Friday and one on Saturday morning. The squads will then each play an additional match Saturday afternoon to determine placing.

Action is set to begin at 10:00 am on Friday and 9:30 am on Saturday.

NYU went 3-0 at the invitational in 2013, setting the tone for a 28-win season and an NCAA Tournament berth.
