New York University's men's and women's swimming & diving teams will be back in the water on Saturday, October 12, when they compete in a dual-meet against SUNY Cortland at the Palladium Athletic Facility.

In his first season as Head Coach in 2012-13, Trevor Miele led the men's program to a second-place finish at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships and a seventh-place finish at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships.

Miele also led the women to a fourth-place finish at the ECACs and a seventh-place finish at UAAs.

Both Violet swimming & diving programs kicked off last season against the Red Dragons, as well. The men topped Cortland 184-110, while the women won 173-123.

This year's season-opening meet is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Results and recaps will be available following the meet at gonyuathletics.com.
