TEAM BIO:
The NYU Table Tennis Team was founded in 2006 and competes under the
National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA) on the local, regional, and national levels. Since then, Table Tennis has earned two national championships and multiple Regional titles with members who have earned Olympic medals and qualifiers, participated as USA National members, earned player of the year awards, among many other awards. The team is coached by world Table Tennis standout, Yunjung Gao, who has been recognized as College Table Tennis Coach of the Year multiple times.
Table Tennis is a well structured and operational club that has a highly competitive team, while also serving the NYU community with recreational play through their club, and in partnering with
NYU Intramurals.
The team comprises of US and international students studying a variety of subjects, in both undergrad and graduate programs.
