The NYU Racquetball Association (NYURA) welcomes racquetball enthusiasts of all levels. The Club is open to only NYU students. Players must supply their own racquets, balls, non-marking sole shoes, and eye guards. Wearing eye guards is mandatory for all NYURA events, including tournaments, clinics and free play.
For the 2015-2016 academic year, tournaments are organized by skill level, follow AARA guidelines, and the top three players receive trophies or prizes. NYURA encourages and sponsors student members to participate in extramural City, State, Regional, and Collegiate tournaments.
Members of the racquetball club should strive to improve their technique, strategy, safety, and abide by the AARA guidelines. The NYURA prides itself in promoting a healthy competitive environment where players of every skill level are welcomed. Club members meet and play in courts 8, 9, and 10 on Monday and Wednesday, 6:30 to 10:30 PM.
