TEAM BIO:
NYU Cycling has moved to the forefront of collegiate racing on the East Coast. New York City has one of the most vibrant cycling scenes in the Northeast, and Central Park is the training hub for most of the area's riders. NYU is one of many high-level competitive teams in the metro area.

The club holds 2-3 organized workouts every week, one of which being a longer weekend ride across the George Washington Bridge and out of the city. Weekend rides last as long as weather permits. During the week, workouts will either be held indoors at Palladium, working both in the spinning and weight rooms, or outside in Central Park. However, due to class schedules, many team members train on their own or with others informally. The teams looks to really hone in on and improve racing and riding skills.

The club supports riders of all skill levels and competitive aspirations - from just wanting to try out an introduction race to competing nationally. NYU fully sponsors the racing team, and the ability levels of the members have ranged from Category 1/2 racers (highest amateur ranking within the USA Cycling Federation) to riders who just bought their first road bike.
