Zach Kirschner

Zach Kirschner joined the New York University baseball staff as an assistant coach in February 2026, and is serving as the Violets' Pitching Coach. 

Kirschner arrived at NYU following a stint as Pitching Coach/Director of Analytics/Recruiting Coordinator for Paul D. Camp Community College in 2024-25. With the Hurricanes, Kirschner assisted all seven graduating pitchers of the 2025 class in advancing to four-year collegiate programs, including one to NCAA Division I Norfolk State University. Additionally, he coached that season’s Region 10 Conference Relief Pitcher of the Year.

Kirschner spent the Summer of 2025 as the Pitching Coach for the Tarboro River Bandits of the Old North State League. leading the pitching staff to a collective 3.75 ERA and helping the team win the league’s championship. he also served as a Player Development/Scouting Intern for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League during the summer of 2023.  

A 2024 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management, Kirschner served as a student manager and data analyst for the Mountaineers' baseball team.  

Kirschner is a native and resident of Montville, NJ.
